Who would have predicted ...

The process for choosing the 2020 Democratic Party presidential primaries and caucuses is just beginning and will peak when the 3,979 elected delegates gather in June to elect their preferred Presidential candidate and team.

There were 22 candidates and its now down to 19, and some of these have very high profiles.  But overnight in the one of the litmus test states something really amazing happened.

Everyone deserves a great LOVE story

I have just come home from the cinema after watching "Love,Simon" the new teen love story from 20th Century Fox. Based on the novel "Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda" by Becky Albertalli, who won the American Library Association's William C. A visit to Griffith Base Hospital ....

A couple of years ago I had a visit to hospital for a surgical procedure and while it was just day surgery, I freaked out. I was held together by friends who provided amazing support. So imagine my experience this week as I had a simple insect bite, that had become infected and turn into a nasty ulcer hosting a bug that is resistant to just about every medical resource we have available to us, checked after a visit to Emergency a couple of weeks ago.

Opinion: How has marriage protected women?!

Those who are ruining the campaign  against Marriage equality are reaching new lows in what they offer as evidence the sky will fall and, trees wither and frogs will have to be kissed to find your next love.

Australia doesn't need a plebiscite on same-sex marriage – Ireland's experience shows why

Ireland made history in May 2015 by becoming the first country to legalise same-sex marriage by popular vote. Australia may follow suit if the Coalition keeps its commitment to hold a plebiscite on same-sex marriage by 2017, the yes vote wins, and subsequent legislation passes the parliament.

Don't miss the Bible to validate your argument against Marriage Equality

The Bible sets out very clearly for Christians an ethical guide to how we care and support each other. God does not condemn, He asks that we love, support and nurture and that we ensure there is justice for all. Robyn J Whitaker, Trinity College, A leading scholar on the Bible, explores this in a great article on what the Bible actually says about Same Sex Marriage, published today in The Conversation.

a journey shared ..

The Warangesda: Deep Waters is the next chapter in what has become such a quintessential component of the Griffith Regional Art Gallery's annual exhibition calendar, I think it's the fourth collaboration with Western Riverina Arts and local and regional Aboriginal Artists.

Something Wicked(ly) good this way comes .....

I suspect that I'm one of those few has not encountered Wicked before, well in its current musical form anyway. I'm familiar with the film version of the classic L. Frank Baum novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz that MGM delivered in Technicolour to theatre Screens across the globe, as the Wizard of Oz.
